A Day at Target Farm – Farming for Nature
5 November 2024
Food production? Nature recovery? How should our farmland be used?
It’s a common concern that farmland used for nature recovery takes it out of production, and threatens our food security. But increasingly, our farmers are finding ways to support biodiversity, without compromising crop yields, striking a balance between these two vital land uses.
Meet Peter Hall, whose family have farmed Target Farm in Marden, Kent for five generations – Peter has been working hard for nature for many years, and sees rewards for biodiversity year on year.
Sit back, have a cup of tea, and listen to some of the brilliant work Peter has been up to!
