Consultation and publication
Before the draft Strategy goes to public consultation, it first has to be shared with the Supporting Authorities (the county’s local authorities and Natural England) and our neighbouring Responsible Authorities (East Sussex, Surrey, London and Essex). Following a four week period, and the addressing of any issues, the draft Strategy will then go out to public consultation for eight weeks. A consultation response will be published by the project.
Once the Strategy is finalised, we again share it with Supporting Authorities and our neighbouring Responsible Authorities. Following a four week period, and the addressing of any issues, we can then inform the Secretary of State of our intent to publish.
If you would like to be informed when the public consultation commences, register your interest in the project and let us know to contact you at that point.
